You can manage a lot of different options to help you get the most out of the Community, directly from the Settings section.
The Settings section of the Community is the go to place to manage your notification settings alongside your account details.
Reaching the Settings part of the Community is different between the App and the Web platform, so we're going to guide you through both here:
Settings in the App:
The Settings section of the App is a part of the Profile page.
To navigate to the App Settings, you would first tap on the profile icon in the middle of the bottom navigation bar.
Next, tap on the cog icon at the top right of the screen, this will take you to the Settings.
Here you'll have a range of options:
- Push notification settings: Will take you to the available options to manage those settings. You can learn more about Push Notifications and managing their settings here.
- Email: This allows you to manage any email preferences you may have.
- Third-party software: Gives all of the technical information about the App.
- Change name: Allows you to change your username.
- Update email address: Lets you change the email associated with your account.
- Change password: Takes you through the process of changing your password to your account.
- Log out: Logs you out of the App.
- Delete account: This takes you through the process of deleting your account. However, this is a permanent process and cannot be reversed!
Settings on the Web Platform:
To navigate to the Settings page, simply tap on the settings tab on the left hand side menu.
Some of the options include:
- Push notification settings: Will take you to the available options to manage those settings. You can learn more about Push Notifications and managing their settings here.
- Notification Centre: Allows you to amend some in-app notification settings.
- Update email address: Lets you change the email associated with your account.
- Change password: Takes you through the process of changing your password to your account.
- Log out: Logs you out of the App.
- Delete account: This takes you through the process of deleting your account. However, this is a permanent process and cannot be reversed!
